Summary:
Texas A&M is ranked Preseason No. 1 for a reason. There are plenty of others just in the SEC that can win it all as well. LSU (3), Tennessee (4), Arkansas (5), Georgia (8), and Florida (10) should tell you all you need to know. A&M has a brutal schedule, and everyone will be laying low to give the top dog their best shot.
The Aggies have what they need to make a run to win that last game of the 2025 Season. Now they just must band together, stay healthy, and do it on the field. Anything can and will happen throughout the season. There are a lot of “big games”, but the biggest games come with the beginning of postseason. You need a healthy team, hitting on all cylinders at the right time. If you don’t believe me, then think where this team would have been with a healthy Braden Montgomery for the CWS. There’s more than just on paper, it takes everyone to buy in and the next man up ready to play at moment’s notice. A&M had that in 2024 with the likes of Kaden Kent stepping up when called upon.
This team is deeper than any team I have covered over the last two decades. They have the leadership, raw talent, bullpen, etc. to achieve the highest of goals. I hope that everyone that follows Aggie Baseball is ready to go. It should be a year to remember! First Pitch Feb. 14 6:00pm at Blue Bell Park vs. Elon. Get your popcorn ready! Gig’em Aggies!
