Arch Manning should be in no rush to jump to the NFL, so this could be a two-year Texas run before he steps to the next level. Manning just finished his third spring camp under Steve Sarkisian’s offensive system and finally, gets his opportunity to shine in 2025. He simply hasn’t started enough games yet to warrant top billing in the 2026 quarterback draft order, but that could change with a stellar campaign as the preseason Heisman frontrunner. The Longhorns should be able to do more offensively from a quarterback run standpoint, too, since Manning is a better runner than Quinn Ewers.
