Three Georgia Bulldogs transfers are still looking for landing spots ahead of the 2025 college football season. Former Georgia Bulldogs quarterback Jaden Rashada, who is the top ranked player at his position in the transfer portal, is the most notable former UGA player in the portal.
Wide receiver Rara Thomas was dismissed ahead of the 2024 college football season and remains available. Former USC Trojans wide receiver transfer Michael Jackson spent one season at Georgia and made a minimal impact for the Bulldogs. Jackson also remains in the portal.
Twelve of Georgia’s 15 outgoing winter window transfers found new destinations including former Georgia quarterback Carson Beck and outside linebacker Damon Wilson. Beck is the No. 3 ranked transfer in the country and Wilson is the No. 2 ranked transfer. Wilson’s transfer is particularly painful because Georgia lost seven of its eight leading sack producers from the 2024 college football season.
The spring transfer portal opens on April 16, so there will be a flurry of transfer activity around then. However, the three former Georgia players that are still in the transfer portal are free to sign with a new team at any time.
The three UGA players left in the portal all have one thing in common: they had relatively minor roles for Georgia last season.
