COLUMBIA – The University of South Carolina baseball team announced its 2025 non-conference schedule this afternoon (Monday, Dec. 9) with the annual three-game series against Clemson and the neutral site games against the College of Charleston and North Carolina as part of the out-of-conference slate.
The Gamecocks will open the Paul Mainieri era in Columbia on Friday, Feb. 14 with a Valentine’s Day matinee against Sacred Heart, part of a three-game set with the Pioneers. A pair of midweek games at Winthrop (Feb. 18) and home against Queens (Feb. 19) are followed by three-game home series against Milwaukee (Feb. 21-23). Carolina hosts Gardner-Webb on Feb. 25 to be followed by the Clemson series, starting in Clemson on Feb. 28. The Saturday game will be played at Fluor Field in Greenville with Sunday’s game in Founders Park.
Carolina’s second double midweek of the season will have a home date vs. Davidson (March 4) and a road contest at The Citadel (March 5). Carolina then takes on Morehead State on March 7-9 in Columbia.
Carolina will have a pair of neutral non-conference contests away from Columbia in Minor League stadiums. The Gamecocks face the College of Charleston at Segra Park in Columbia, home of the Columbia Fireflies, on Tuesday, March 18. The Gamecocks then face North Carolina on Tuesday, March 25 at Truist Field in Charlotte.
Carolina will have home midweek contests against Georgia State (March 12), Presbyterian (April 1), USC Upstate (April 8), The Citadel (April 15), North Florida (April 22), Charleston Southern (April 29) and Winthrop (May 13).
Carolina announced its 30-game SEC schedule in September, which starts March 14 vs. Oklahoma. All game times are subject to change when the television schedule is announced at the beginning of 2025.
