HONOLULU — The University of Hawai’i baseball team revealed its 2025 schedule Monday, highlighted by a 35-game home slate. The Rainbow Warriors will kick off the season at Les Murakami Stadium with a four-game series against Marshall, beginning on February 14, 2025.
Owners of the nation’s longest home winning streak at 11 games, the ‘Bows will look to pick up right where they left off coming off a season in which they boasted the nation’s best ERA at 3.78. Behind formidable pitching and defense, and an opportunistic offense, the Rainbow Warriors concluded last season with an impressive run, winning 18 of their final 20 games.
The Rainbow Warriors open the season with a 12-game homestand that includes a series against long-time rival Wichita State (Feb. 20-23) before playing at UC Riverside, Mar. 7-9, to start Big West play. UH then returns home for an eight-game homestand that begins with a matchup with Chaminade on Mar. 11. The Rainbow Warriors will then welcome defending Big West champs UC Santa Barbara, Mar. 14-16, and UC Davis Mar. 22-24 before hosting Hawai’i Hilo for one game. Hawai’i concludes its March with a series at CSUN (Mar. 28-30)
The Rainbow Warriors start their April at home facing off against Hawai’i Pacific (Apr. 1) before a three-game conference battle with Long Beach State (Apr. 4-6). UH then goes back on the road to take on Santa Clara (Apr. 8) before playing six games in nine days, starting with Cal Poly (Apr. 11-13) and USC (Apr. 15), before closing the road trip with a series at UC Irvine (Apr. 17-19).
The ‘Bows return to the islands to host Chaminade (Apr. 22), Cal State Bakersfield (Apr. 25-27) and Oregon State (May 2-5) before closing out the regular season with a series at Cal State Fullerton (May 9-11) and Senior Weekend against UC San Diego. The season-ending series against the Tritons will be adjusted due to a scheduling conflict on Saturday, May 17.
This year will also mark the first time since UH joined the Big West that the conference will have a postseason tournament. The top five teams in the regular season will qualify for the Big West Championship, May 21-25 in Fullerton, Calif.
