Peach Bowl predictions: Can Arizona State upset Texas?

Arizona State now knows who it will be facing in the quarterfinal of the College Football Playoff after Texas’ 38-24 victory over Clemson in the first round on Saturday.

With the two teams set to square off in the Peach Bowl in Atlanta on Jan. 1, the Sun Devils opened as 13.5-point underdogs to the Longhorns, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

The over/under is currently at 51.5 points, while Texas’ moneyline is at -610 and Arizona State’s is +440.

Meanwhile, ESPN’s “Matchup Predictor” gives Texas a 79.6% chance to win the game based on analytics.

The Athletic’s model is even more lopsided, with the Longhorns having an 87% chance at defeating the Sun Devils.

But how do college football analysts feel about ASU’s chances of pulling off the upset?
