The Michigan State and Michigan women’s basketball teams each fell in this week’s Associated Press Top 25 poll.
Michigan State (11-1) fell four spots to No. 19 after suffering its first loss of the season, 82-67 to Alabama in the West Palm Beach Classic.
Michigan (10-2) split its two games last week, falling to then-No. 10 Oklahoma, 72-62, before bouncing back to drub Akron, 96-55, in falling from No. 20 to No. 23.
The top three teams — UCLA, South Carolina and Notre Dame — remain unchanged in the poll, released Monday. USC moved up to No. 4, a leap of three spots.
