Bowl season continues on Friday in college football with a slate of five games.
Starting the day off is Oklahoma vs. Navy in the Armed Forces Bowl at noon ET from Fort Worth, Texas. It is the first time that the Sooners and Midshipmen, who won this year’s Army-Navy Game, will meet since 1965.

The marquee bowl game on Friday’s slate will take place in San Diego at 8 p.m. ET when No. 25 Syracuse meets up with Washington State in the Holiday Bowl. Syracuse quarterback Kyle McCord is coming off a historic regular season with the Orange, as the Ohio State transfer threw for 4,326 yards and 29 touchdowns. His counterpart on Friday will be Zevi Eckhaus, with Washington State starting quarterback John Mateer transferring to Oklahoma.
Washington State will also have an interim coach on Friday, as head coach Jake Dickert was announced as the new head coach at Wake Forest on Dec. 18. Serving in Dickert’s place will be assistant head coach and defensive tackles coach Pete Kaligis.
Closing out Friday’s bowl games is the Las Vegas Bowl between USC and Texas A&M. The Trojans have lost a considerable amount of their roster to the portal, including starting quarterback Miller Moss and two of their top wide receivers in Zachariah Branch and Kyron Hudson. Texas A&M will also be without its starting quarterback Connor Weigman, who has transferred to Houston.
