Andrew Lihotz, Director of Philly Select Baseball, is committed to honoring the essence of the game by fostering a league that stays true to its core values. His passion for baseball is rooted in his own playing career, which began as a varsity pitcher at Northeast High School, where he helped lead the team to two public league championships. Andrew went on to play as a four-year starter at Rutgers University-Camden and continued his journey in independent baseball, gaining invaluable insights that now inform his coaching philosophy. Over the past decade, he has served as a pitching coach at both Holy Ghost Prep and Bucks County Community College.

Gordon is an award-winning journalist and has covered baseball for
nearly two decades. He has a master’s in journalism and has worked with
various news outlets in the region. His work has appeared in dozens of
publications across the country, including Baseball America, MLB.com,
Sports Collectors Monthly, the Philadelphia Daily News, and the Las
Vegas Sun. Gordon also is a member of the Internet Baseball Writers
Association of America (IBWAA), and the National College Baseball
Writers Association (NCBWA), and has served on the executive board of
the Pennsylvania School Press Association (PSPA).
