These Iowa college football alums will play in the NFL wild-card round this weekend

After 18 weeks of regular season football, the NFL playoffs kick off Saturday, Jan. 11.

As 14 teams battle it out for a chance to play in Super Bowl 59, several will have players from Iowa colleges on their rosters. Iowa, Iowa State and Northern Iowa each have at least one player on an NFL playoff team. 

Here’s a look at those players by team who will be playing in the postseason and how to watch the playoffs this weekend.

What is the NFL playoff schedule 2025?

The NFL playoffs kick off on Jan. 11 with the league’s Super Wild Card Weekend, before concluding Feb. 9 with Super Bowl 59 in New Orleans.
