Sunday Headlines: Breakthrough Road Win Edition

What a bounce-back win for the Kentucky Wildcats.

Coming on the heels of a loss in Athens to the Georgia Bulldogs, Kentucky went on the road to Starkville and picked up a 95-90 win over a Mississippi State team ranked #14 riding an eight-game winning streak.

That was the most points given up by Mississippi State this season and the second-most points given up by the Bulldogs in the Chris Jans era.

The Cats put together an excellent offensive performance, shooting nearly 56 percent from the floor and knocking down 16 three-pointers.

Jaxson Robinson had a breakthrough performance, scoring 27 points and knocking down seven 3-pointers.

After the loss to Georgia, it was great to see Kentucky bounce back and bring the fight to the Bulldogs on their home floor. There are still some things to work on clearly. Defense continues to be an area of concern, and Kentucky gave up 11 offensive rebounds to Mississippi State, but there was still a lot to like from this game.
