ANN ARBOR — Over six offensive possessions in the second half of Sunday’s win over Washington, Michigan scored five times in a variety of ways:
Michigan moved the ball quickly around the perimeter, and Washington’s defense was too slow to close out on Will Tschetter, who buried a 3. Tre Donaldson seamlessly turned a dribble into a pass, looking off the defense before hitting a streaking Vladislav Goldin for a transition layup. Those two connected again when Goldin slipped a screen and rolled towards the basket for a bucket. Michigan worked the ball inside-out before Sam Walters’ quick-trigger 3. Danny Wolf found space in the zone defense, took a pass and drove before dropping a pretty pass to Tschetter for a layup.
