North Dakota State, for example, is one of the few FCS teams with an attendee and sent offensive lineman Grey Zabel to the showcase on the heels of its national championship victory. Laurier, meanwhile, is home to Taylor Elgersma, who became the first quarterback from a Canadian university to be invited to the Senior Bowl. There are a handful of more traditional FBS squads in this mix too, though, like reigning playoff teams in Clemson, Texas and SMU.
