National Signing Day for high school football players is on Wednesday.
Georgia already picked up 27 players in the early period for their 2025 recruiting class, ranked No. 2 nationally and in the SEC by 247Sports.

When is National Signing Day 2025?
The February, or regular, signing day for prospective 2024-25 student athletes is Wednesday, Feb. 5. The Division I deadline is slated for April 1, while Division II is Aug. 1.

What is National Signing Day?
National Signing Day is the traditional and exclusive first day of the college football signing period for high school seniors. In 2017 it was extended from a 24-hour action packed day to over a month, adding the early December period as well.
What changed about National Signing Day in 2025?
The class of 2025 is the first that doesn’t have to sign National Letters of Intent. The NCAA eliminated NLIs in October 2024, which had been part of the signing day process since 1964.

Georgia football secured several of their highest recruiting targets during the early period on Dec. 4, including the country’s third-ranked player overall in defensive lineman Elijah Griffin out of Savannah Christian. 247Sports has them with 34 commits, three 5-stars, 23 4-stars and eight 3-stars.
