Chicago’s top overall selection during the last NFL Draft cycle, Caleb Williams was the Heisman winner as a sophomore in 2022 (4,537 yards, 42 touchdowns, five interceptions), before his efficiency numbers — and USC’s team success — took a step back during the 2023 campaign. Williams had one of college football’s lowest grades against the blitz at 41.4 and no signal caller drafted last cycle had more turnover-worthy plays when facing pressure. Some of this was Williams always trusting his arm and play-making ability, even when the best decision might’ve been throwing it away.
