The NFL regular season is over and all that reamains is Super Bowl LIX and the postseason awards in the NFL Honors show.
Former Louisville football star and current Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson could bring home his third NFL MVP race title after leading the Ravens to an AFC North championship. Jackson is the first quarterback in NFL history to surpass 4,000 passing yards and 900 rushing yards in a single season.
However, another MVP frontrunner ended Jackson’s playoff run when Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills handed Baltimore a divisional playoff round loss.

The NFL MVP will be revealed during the NFL Honors ceremony at the Saenger Theater. The winner will be announced ahead of Super Bowl 59, which will be held at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.

The NFL MVP finalists were released Jan. 23, 2025. Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen and Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson are among the five finalists.

At 27 years old, Lamar Jackson became the second-youngest player to win multiple MVPs. He led the Ravens to the best record in the NFL, 13-4, beating 10 teams with records at .500 or better. Jackson passed for 3,678 yards and 24 touchdowns in addition to rushing for 821 yards and five touchdowns.
