College Baseball Odds: Betting lines released for 2025 College World Series Champs

Opening Day is right around the corner. The 2025 college baseball season gets underway next week, and the betting odds are out for the College World Series champs.

After defeating Texas A&M in the championship series last year, Tennessee is the favorite to repeat again at +700, according to DraftKings. LSU is right behind at +800, and Texas A&M is a close third at +850.

The road to Omaha officially starts next week. Before the college baseball season begins, here are the full betting odds for the 2025 College World Series.

Tennessee – +700

After bringing home a title for the first time ever, Tennessee is the favorite to win it all again. The Volunteers lost some key players from last season’s squad, but made some notable additions to stay atop the college baseball odds board.

Andrew Fischer and Gavin Kilen arrive as instant-impact bats, while three players – shortstop Dean Curley, pitcher Nate Snead and pitcher AJ Russell – were named first team Preseason All-America by Baseball America. The Vols will get the 2025 season underway Feb. 14 against Hofstra.

LSU – +800

Despite nearly missing the NCAA Tournament last year, LSU has the second-best odds to win the 2025 College World Series, per DraftKings. The Tigers notably lost Tommy White and all three catchers, but still have the pieces in place to be in the title picture this season.

Indiana State transfer Luis Hernandez is sure to be a key piece for Jay Johnson’s group after leading the Sycamores to a Regional berth a year ago. Chase Shores is also back from injury, which bodes well for the LSU pitching staff.

Texas A&M – +850

Altough Jim Schlossnagle left as head coach after the championship series, Texas A&M returned multiple top contributors who entered the transfer portal. As a result, the Aggies are sure to stay one of the top teams in college baseball and have the third-best odds to win the College World Series, according to DraftKings.

Michael Earley is now in as head coach and key players such as Gavin Grahovac and potential No. 1 pick Jace LaViolette are back in the fold. The Aggies get things underway Feb. 14 against Elon.

Virginia – +1200

Following a third College World Series berth in four years, Virginia is sure to stay in the title picture once again. The Cavaliers have a mix of young and returning talent, which could help them stay in the conversation.

Evan Blanco and Jay Woolfolk both return to lead the pitching staff, providing a big boost for Brian O’Connor’s group. It all starts Feb. 14 against Michigan in the Puerto Rico Challenge.

Arkansas – +1500

Despite losing top starter Hagen Smith to the MLB Draft, Arkansas reloaded in a big way. As a result, Dave Van Horn and Co. enter the year as one of the likely top teams in college baseball.

East Carolina transfer Zach Root, Ohio State transfer Landon Beidelschies and freshman Cole Gibler all could make a big impact for the Razorbacks in 2025. Wehiwa Aloy and Charles Davalan are also back in the lineup and are preparing to play key roles once again.

North Carolina – +1800

One of the stories of last year’s NCAA Tournament, North Carolina lost some top playmakers in Vance Honeycutt and Casey Cook. But there’s still plenty of reason for optimism in Chapel Hill, and the Tar Heels’ odds are among the top in college baseball in 2025.

One thing North Carolina has this year, though, is a deep pitching staff. Jason DeCaro, Folger Boaz and Jake Knapp are all back in the fold, which is a huge boost after last year’s College World Series berth.

Florida State – +2200

Florida State lost two top contributors in Cam Smith and James Tibbs III, but the Seminoles still have the pieces to be successful in Year 3 under Link Jarrett. In fact, they could be among the top teams in the country.

FSU has its ace in Jamie Arnold, and Cam Leiter is also sure to make an impact behind him. The Seminoles also have Max Williams coming back to the lineup as they enter the year at +2200 to win the College World Series, per DraftKings.

Florida – +2200

Losing two-way star Jac Caglianone to the MLB Draft is a big blow for Florida. But the Gators brought in some intriguing new faces, which could help them make a run at the College World Series in 2025.

Liam Peterson is the biggest name coming back to the pitching staff, while USF transfer Bobby Boser and Miami transfer Blake Cyr join the lineup. Florida will get the 2025 season underway Feb. 14 against Air Force.

Oregon State – +2500

Even without Travis Bazzana, who went No. 1 overall in the MLB Draft, Oregon State proves to once again be a force in 2025. The Beavers enter a new world as an independent after the Pac-12’s breakup, but still look to be in the national picture.

Oregon State just missed out on the College World Series last year, but added a key piece in Washington transfer Aiva Arquette. If the Beavers can get some stability on the mound, they could make some noise.

Wake Forest – +2800

Wake Forest missed out on the College World Series a season ago after making its third-ever trip to Omaha in 2023. The Demon Deacons lose three first-round picks from 2024, but still have plenty of production from the high school and transfer recruiting trails.

Marek Houston is back in the fold for Wake Forest after a huge 2024 season, and multiple transfers such as Ethan Conrad and Matt Scannell could take on starting roles. The Demon Deacons get things underway Feb. 14 against Long Island.

Texas – +2800

With Jim Schlossnagle now taking over as head coach, Texas will get ready to take a step up in the new-look SEC. The Longhorns return multiple key pieces while adding some new faces to the fold.

Kimble Schuessler is back after ranking second on the team in batting average a year ago, and Indiana State transfer Jared Spencer is now in to help solidify the pitching staff. Texas will get the 2025 season underway Feb. 14 against Louisville.
