UNO signee Hayden Stringfellow led the charge offensively, going 6-for-9 over the weekend with a double, home run, and three RBI.
Dylan Biddick contributed significantly as well, tallying fivehits, including three doubles, and driving in three runs. Despite these efforts, South Arkansas managed to win 7-5.
The decisive Game 3 was a showcase of resilience and skill.
Former Parkway standout Brandon Levy had a huge offensive performance with three hits, including a triple and a home run, in the Sunday win.
Andy Roman was a defensive powerhouse, throwing out three runners and adding two hits. On the mound, Ben McKinnon struck out eight over five innings, and McNeese signee Jaden Bahl pitched four innings in relief, collecting four strikeouts to secure the victory.
Bossier Parish’s combination of strong pitching and timely hitting proved too much for South Arkansas, highlighting their potential for a successful season ahead. BPCC outhit South Arkansas 31 to 12 in the series.
The Cavaliers are back in action Feb. 7-8 against Richland College at home. Game One is set for 5 p.m. Feb. 7 with a doubleheader slated for Feb. 8 that will start at noon.
