CFB and NFL analyst Shannon Sharpe has outlined how Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts is a winner and has been so since his college playing days. While appearing on the popular ESPN show “First Take” alongside Stephen A. Smith, Sharpe explained how, though it may not always look the way fans and analysts want, Hurts still finds a way to get the job done.
The Eagles destroyed Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl 59 on Sunday. The Eagles won by a score of 40-22 and, at one point, were leading 34-0 in the third quarter of the game.

What Did Shannon Sharpe Say About Jalen Hurts?
Hurts played phenomenally, having accumulated 221 passing yards, two passing touchdowns, 72 rushing yards, and one rushing touchdown in the big game. He was named the Super Bowl 59 MVP for his strong efforts.
Sharpe made clear that Hurts is a winner, and has been so going back to his days playing college football for the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Oklahoma Sooners.
Sharpe stated, “Jalen Hurts. If you just go back and look at him, all he does is win. Now, the problem is, is that he doesn’t win a lot of times the way that we want him to. Man, why don’t you throw for 355 like everybody else does, why can’t you have a four touchdown passing game like everybody else does.
“If you go back and study him at Alabama, you go back and look at him at Oklahoma, all he does is win Stephen A. And it might not be the prettiest, but it’s effective. Man, Jalen Hurts has a lot to be proud about.”
Jalen Hurts Season Review
Hurts joins a short list of quarterbacks who have lost their first appearance in the Super Bowl, made it back to the big game, and won a championship thereafter.
Now a Super Bowl Champion quarterback, Hurts has now won at both the college and NFL level, as he won the National Championship in the 2017 season and made it to the College Football Playoffs on numerous occasions while playing for the Crimson Tide and the Sooners.
