Dubuque Wahlert graduate Aaron Savary will open the college baseball season as the No. 2 starter in the University of Iowa pitching rotation.
The Hawkeyes open the season Friday at the University of South Florida in Tampa and will send left-hander Cade Obermueller to the mound. Savary and fellow right-hander Reece Beuter are scheduled to start Saturday and Sunday against the Bulls.
