Michigan Vs. TCU Baseball Live Scores At Amegy Bank College Baseball Series

We are in the second week of the 2025 Amegy Bank College Baseball Series at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas.

The afternoon headliner is the game between No. 22 TCU and Michigan baseball, where both teams are coming in as hot as they can to begin the season.

Michigan kicked off the season competing in the Puerto Rico Challenge, where it defeated No. 2 Virginia baseball, 5-4, in extra innings in the Wolverines’ first game of the challenge.

A couple of days later, Michigan was all over Villanova, defeating the Wildcats 19-0 and finishing the challenge against Stetson with a 6-1 win.

TCU, on the other hand, began its season with a traditional four-game series against San Diego on the road. It also won 5-4 in extra innings to begin and got a lopsided victory in the third game.

The top names for Michigan include starting pitcher Kurt Barr, who led the team in ERA a season ago; Joonsung Park, a South Korean import who debuted in the middle of the 2024 season with a double and home run in his first two starts; Will Rogers, a two-way player as a reliever and slugger who had eight home runs last season; Mitch Voit, a first-team Big Ten selection and Washington transfer; and Jeter Ybarra.

Big names to look for the Horned Frogs are Noah Franco, also a two-way player who pitched a 0.89 ERA last season while hitting around .320; starting pitcher and Wichita State transfer Tommy LaPour, who won newcomer of the year in the AAC; Outfielder Sam Myers, who finished the season with an impressive .353 batting average; and returning shortstop Anthony Silva, who hammered seven home runs and a .471 slugging percentage.

TCU’s standout pitcher, Ben Abeldt, is out for the season with an elbow injury that requires Tommy John surgery.
