High school football phenom Jared Curtis: The decision that could change college football forever

Jared Curtis, one of the top prospects in high school football, is more than a year away from graduation. Despite previously choosing a program to continue his career, Curtis reopened his recruitment process under constant pressure and now has two options before him.

Curtis has impressed scouts and coaches since his entry into high school. During his first three years with the Eagles, the young quarterback threw for 7,665 yards and 92 touchdowns, along with 1,663 rushing yards and 38 scores on the ground.

Until recently, Curtis was committed to Georgia. However, as offers continued to pour in, he decided in October to reopen his recruiting process. He narrowed his options down to six, and this week he was left with just two possible destinations: the Bulldogs and the Oregon Ducks.

What’s next in Jared Curtis’s process?

According to ON3.com, after canceling visits to Auburn and South Carolina, Curtis will now visit his final two options. The young quarterback plans to make official trips to Oregon and Georgia to observe their training methods firsthand.

Curtis reported that he will visit Eugene on March 8 and June 6, and will travel to Athens on March 13 and June 13. “I’m excited to see how they practice and coach their players,” Curtis admitted. “Can’t wait to get down there.”

As for his reasons for keeping the Bulldogs among his top choices, Curtis said, “I just love the consistency there, and I think they just get better throughout the year.”

College football’s next superstar

Beyond his impressive stats, Curtis has shown charisma and an ability to connect with fans. Thanks to this, his NIL valuation stands at $3 million, placing him No. 1 in high school football rankings and No. 14 in the top 100 overall.

If he continues his rise, young Curtis will soon become not only a great quarterback but a star in his own right. It’s all a matter of time.
