Jackson Cantwell, a five-star offensive line recruit, has finalized most of his official visits. Among them is a June 6th trip to check out the Georgia Bulldogs. He has also scheduled visits with Miami, Missouri, Michigan, and Oregon. A visit to Ohio State is planned, but the date is yet to be confirmed.
Leading up to his official visits, Georgia has consistently been viewed as a front-runner in Jackson Cantwell’s recruitment, with Oregon also considered a strong contender. Playing two sports is not out of the equation, but the track star will base his decision primarily on football.
“I’m going to college as a football player, but it wouldn’t hurt to get to do some track stuff too,” Cantwell said to On3’s Chad Simmons (subscription required).
Cantwell is a member of the class of 2026 and plays high school football for Nixa High School in Nixa, Missouri. The 6-foot-8, 300-pound offensive lineman is the nation’s No. 1 offensive tackle, No. 1 player, and the top recruit in Missouri.
Cantwell is a prospect that Georgia has been heavily recruiting for some time and now with a commitment looming soon it will be all hands on deck to land him.
