Former Alabama offensive lineman Tyler Booker worked out in front of pro scouts at the 2025 NFL Combine on Sunday. Could the Miami Dolphins take him in the NFL Draft?
Booker was a First Team All-American selection, helping the Crimson Tide put up some incredible numbers on offense throughout the 2024 season. Booker was on the watchlist for both the Lombardi Award and Outland Trophy.
The OL is one of the players the Dolphins should consider in April’s NFL Draft. Here’s a look at how Booker performed at the NFL combine.
Tyler Booker 40 time
Tyler Booker ran an unofficial best of 5.38 seconds in the 40-yard dash, which was last among all offensive linemen in the combine. However, as analysts noted, the 10-yard split should make more of a difference for the OL position. However, his split of 1.96 seconds also put him at the bottom.
Tyler Booker combine results
Tyler Booker’s vertical jump of 27 inches put him toward the bottom of his group, ranking No. 14 out of 15 offensive linemen. He added a broad jump of 7 feet, 10 inches, which ranked him at No. 15.
Booker measured in at 6-foot-4, and weighed in at 321 pounds. He has a wingspan of 34 1/2 inches, and a hand length of 11 inches, which was among the bigger wingspans and hand lengths of recorded offensive linemen.
Banks did take part in other on-field drills, such as the wave drill.
Where will Tyler Booker be taken in the NFL Draft?
Booker, in a few different outlets from USA Today, is projected to be a first-round pick. One outlet projects him to be drafted by the Miami Dolphins at No. 13, and another predicts him falling as low as No. 25 to the Houston Texans.
