Ohio State Buckeyes star RB duo making major noise ahead of NFL Draft

The 2025 NFL Draft is right around the corner and the Ohio State Buckeyes are going to be heavily represented in it.

Looking just at the first two rounds of the draft, Ohio State is being projected to have quite a few players picked. Among those players could be both of their star running backs.

TreVeyon Henderson and Quinshon Judkins were both huge parts of the team’s national championship run. Now, they will head off to help in the backfield for teams in the NFL.

Following the NFL scouting combine, the Buckeyes’ running back duo have made major noise.

Andrew Dixon of The Score has named both players among the biggest risers from the scouting combine.

“Both Ohio State running backs turned in strong combine performances after leading the Buckeyes to this year’s national championship. Judkins was among the most explosive and fluid in position drills, and the pair delivered solid athletic testing results.”

During the 2024 college football season, Henderson ended up carrying the football 144 times for 1,016 yards and 10 touchdowns. He averaged an impressive 7.1 yards per carry, while also catching 27 passes for 284 yards and a score.

As for Judkins, he picked up 1,060 yards and 14 touchdowns on 194 carries, averaging 5.5 yards per attempt. Judkins also caught 22 passes for 161 yards and two touchdowns.

All of that being said, both Ohio State stars are going to be players to keep an eye on in the 2025 draft. Both of them have star potential at the next level and it will be interesting to see where they play the next chapter of their careers.
