Monday Headlines: Kentucky in the new college basketball rankings

It was another week where the Kentucky Wildcats split a pair of SEC games.

The Kentucky Wildcats went on the road to Norman on Wednesday and pulled out a one-point win over the Oklahoma Sooners by a score of 83-82.

Then, on Saturday, the Wildcats had a disastrous performance and fell to the top-ranked Auburn Tigers at home by a score of 94-78.

Kentucky turned the ball over 18 times and shot just 4-17 from three in that loss.

Kentucky now sits at 19-10 on the season and 8-8 in conference play.

Last week, Kentucky was ranked 17th in the AP Poll and 23rd in the Coaches Poll. It wouldn’t be a surprise if Kentucky dropped a couple of spots in each poll and could even possibly fall out of the top 25 in the Coaches Poll.

Kentucky is ranked higher in the NET, coming in at 15th, while KenPom has them ranked 18th.

Check back here throughout the day for updates on where Kentucky stands in the official rankings!
