Guard
Stud
James Harden, Los Angeles Clippers vs. Sacramento Kings ($10,000) — The Beard’s your elite play. Kawhi Leonard in the lineup likely limits the layups. But together they’re lights out and Western Conference contenders. Harden won’t drop 50 real-life points, but he should cruise to an easy 50 fantasy point floor in a paced-up matchup.
Other Options — Cade Cunningham ($10,200)
Value
Chris Paul, San Antonio Spurs at Minnesota Timberwolves ($4,900) — The veteran point god’s a steal at $4,900. His projection is a very safe 29.5 DKFP. With Victor Wembanyama sidelined, Paul’s running the show. The only knock against Paul is this is March. It’s punt season in NBA DFS. Players sit. Whole rotations rest. There’s bound to be a min-price point guard projected to play 30 minutes.
Other Options — Lonnie Walker IV ($3,400)
Forward
Stud
Kawhi Leonard, Los Angeles Clippers vs. Sacramento Kings ($7,800) — Kawhi Leonard’s your mid-tier cheat code. Backup plan or default mode is more accurate. The forward position is not stacked on Sunday. This will likely be a position to save or be safe with Lenny. With Norman Powell and Ben Simmons out, he’s soaking up usage, and his game log is fire: 41.25 DKFP vs. NYK on Mar. 7 (37 mins, 6-18 FG, 7 REB, 6 AST) and 47.0 vs. LAL on Mar. 2 (40 mins, 12-23 FG, 10 REB).
Value
Brandon Clarke, Memphis Grizzlies at New Orleans Pelicans ($4,100) — This is the chalk play of the day. It’s been the play for a couple days, and yet, his salary hasn’t changed. Wake up, DraftKings! With Jaren Jackson Jr. and Santi Aldama both out, he’s stepping up. The frontcourt minutes are his and he’s producing—over a 5.7x value in five straight and 8.8x on Mar. 7.
Other Options — Vince Williams ($3,900)
Center
Stud
Giannis Antetokounmpo, Milwaukee Bucks vs. Cleveland Cavaliers ($11,100) — Giannis is your slate-dominating stud in a possible playoff preview vs. Cleveland. The 238.5 total is the highest on the slate. The Cavs are winning but the games have been close. Their defense has been shaky and could lead to a Giannis unicorn score. His salary is challenging but the injury report is our friend—and sometimes our enemy. Someone will sit. Value has been in abundance.
Other Options — Julius Randle ($7,200)
Value
Andre Drummond, Philadelphia 76ers vs. Utah Jazz ($5,300) — There is still meat on the bone, as they say. A little bit more can be chewed off the Drummond drumstick. Drummond’s 31.5 DKFP projection is a safe 6x value. There is upside, too. Drummond dropped 55 DKFP on Portland last week. The Jazz haven’t been playing groovy tunes of late. They’re getting tuned-up and playing backups.
Other Options — Oscar Tshiebwe ($3,300)
