Baseball Roundup: American Canyon, Solano College both lose

The American Canyon High baseball team saw it’s late comeback come up just short on Thursday in a 6-5 loss to Alhambra.

The Wolves trailed 6-2 in the sixth, when the American Canyon rallied for three runs to pull within a run. However, the Wolves went down quietly in the seventh and lost the non-league game.

Noah Johnson had two hits and three RBI, while Sovann Som collected two hits and drove in a run.

Taking the loss on the mound was Bradley Keffer, who gave up six earned runs in five and 2/3 innings.

The Wolves’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday at De Anza.

College baseball

Los Medanos 15, Solano 7

The Solano College baseball team fell to Los Medanos on Thursday, falling 15-7.

Despite the loss, the Falcons were led by Cameron Taylor, who had three hits and two RBI. Michael Rivera had two hits, while Isaiah Pazmino scored two runs.
