College basketball live updates, scores: SEC, Big Ten tournaments wrap up on Selection Sunday

The day college basketball fans have been waiting months for has finally arrived.

But before the Selection Sunday show lays out the NCAA tournament bracket, we have several conference championships left that could impact the seeding.

The Big Ten and SEC title games will take center stage, but there are three other automatic bids up for grabs as well on the final day.

Here’s what we’ll be watching on the final day of college basketball before March Madness begins.

Ivy League championship: Yale vs. Cornell, Noon ET | ESPN2

SEC championship: Tennessee vs. Florida, 1 p.m. | ESPN

A10 championship: George Mason vs. VCU, 1 p.m. | CBS

AAC championship: No. 16 Memphis vs. UAB, 3 p.m. | ESPN

Big Ten championship: Wisconsin vs. Michigan, 3:30 p.m. | CBS

  • The Gators are chomping back with a 3 from Will Richard and dunk by Rueben Chinyelu. Florida has a 10-6 lead at the first TV timeout, shooting 4-of-8 early on (2-of-4 from 3).

  • 3s are flying in Nashville

    Tennessee and Florida have tipped off and the Vols have opened the game with consecutive 3-pointers by Zakai Zeigler and Igor Milicic Jr.

    Florida countered with a 3 from Walter Clayton and it is on in Nashville.

  • Tennessee, Florida split regular season series

    Tennessee and Florida split their two matchups during the regular season.

    The Gators blew out the Vols in Gainesville, 73-43. But Tennessee won decisively on their home court, 64-44.

    Florida comes into Sunday’s SEC championship game at 29-4 overall and 14-4 in the SEC. Tennessee has a 27-6 mark, 12-6 in conference.

  • HALFTIME: Yale 37, Cornell 32

    Four points from AK Okereke before the half stopped Yale’s run and closed the margin to 37-32 at the break.

    Okereke leads Cornell with 13 points and four rebounds, followed by seven from Jake Feigen.

    Casey Simmons and Bez Nbeng each have nine for the Bulldogs.

  • Yale has opened up a 37-28 lead with 1:21 remaining before the half. The Bulldogs are on a 12-0 run.

  • Yale takes a four-point lead on a 3-pointer by Casey Simmons. He leads the Bulldogs with nine points with approximately two minutes before halftime.

  • Cornell and Yale battling for Ivy League title

    Cornell and Yale are in a tight matchup midway through the first half in the Ivy League championship game. The Big Red’s AK Okereke gave the Bulldogs a fine “Good afternoon!” with a ferocious dunk along the baseline.
