  • Michigan’s Roddy Gayle Jr. went to the locker room after apparently pulling his left hamstring while running down the court. No word on whether he’ll return after halftime.

  • Wisconsin takes 23-21 lead

John Blackwell gives Wisconsin a 23-21 lead on a drive to the basket following a Xavier Amos miss. Unfortunately for Vladislav Goldin, he took a knee from Blackwell where a guy would just prefer not to take one while going up for the block.

  • Shots are falling now for both teams

Wisconsin took a 13-12 lead on a 3 from Max Klesmit, but Michigan answers with a Roddy Gayle Jr. floater in the lane to go back on top. But John Blackwell hits a jumper to give the Badgers a 15-14 lead.

The pace is picking up as the shot-making for both teams improves in Indianapolis.

  • Cold shooting by Michigan and Wisconsin

Wisconsin is 3-of-13 from 3-point range to begin the game, but John Blackwell hits one to close Wisconsin to 12-10 at the 10:50 mark.

Michigan ran out to a quick 7-3 lead, but a 3 from Nolan Winter has closed Wisconsin to within one point in a bit of a sloppy start to the Big Ten championship game.

  • FINAL: VCU 68, George Mason 63

VCU outlasts George Mason to win the Atlantic 10 tournament championship, 68-63. The Rams finish 27-6 and 15-3 in the conference.

Tennessee was led by Jordan Gainey, who came up big with 24 points off the bench. Zakai Zeigler scored 23. But the Vols could never get closer than five points and Florida answered every Tennessee run with a big shot. The Vols finish 27-7 and 12-6 in conference ahead of the NCAA tournament.

  • FINAL: Florida 86, Tennessee 77

Florida is the SEC champion, defeating Tennessee 86-77.

  • Alijah Martin with the dunk and dagger

Alex Condon gets a steal from Zakai Zeigler and feeds Alijah Martin for a decisive dunk that will put this game away for Florida.

  • Up by 10, Florida calls for a review on a rebound that went out of bounds. The ball was originally given to Tennessee after Jordan Gainey missed a 3, but replay showed that no Gators player touched the ball.

  • Tennessee closes to within 8 points

A Jordan Gainey layup followed by two free throws from Igor Milicic Jr. (on a bad foul by Florida’s Alex Condon) and Tennessee is within eight points with 2:20 remaining in the game.

  • Another foul out for Tennessee

Jahmai Mashack has fouled out, following Chaz Lanier. Two key guards now unavailable for Tennessee as the game closes under the four-minute mark.

  • Thomas Haugh with a big 3 for Florida

Florida is back up by double digits after Thomas Haugh sinks a 3. That was followed by two free throws from Will Richard to put the Gators up 78-64 with 4:22 remaining in regulation.

  • Chaz Lanier fouls out for Tennessee

Chaz Lanier fouled Florida’s Thomas Haugh after he grabbed an offensive rebound. That’s his fifth and he’s done after scoring 11 points for Tennessee.

  • Again, Walter Clayton Jr. keeps Tennessee at a distance

Yet again, Walter Clayton Jr. stalls Tennessee’s comeback effort. The Vols cut the deficit to 67-62 after two Jordan Gainey free throws. But Clayton dribbled off a screen to nail a 3 and put Florida back up by eight points.

  • Walter Clayton Jr. stops the Tennessee run

Gainey now leads the Vols with 20 points off the bench.

  • Quick 5-point burst by Florida

Tennessee cut Florida’s lead to 54-45. But Thomas Haugh got a basket after an offensive rebound and Walter Clayton Jr. stole the ball from Zakai Zeigler for a layup. Just like that, the Gators are up by 14.
