BALTIMORE (WBFF) — Jon Dubé, described as a trailblazer in NFL video operations, has been honored with an Award of Excellence from the Pro Football Hall of Fame, marking a significant milestone in his illustrious 41-year career, the Ravens announced Tuesday.
Dubé, who retired as the Baltimore Ravens’ Senior Video Operations Advisor last summer, received the news from Executive Vice President Ozzie Newsome during the NFL Scouting Combine.

“What an honor,” Dubé said, via press release. “You’re going at such a record pace that you don’t take the time to look back. You just don’t realize until it stops, and it sinks in, and you say, ‘Wow, yeah, I definitely influenced a lot of people.'”
Dubé’s career began with the Cleveland Browns, where he started working straight out of high school. Over the years, he became known for his innovative contributions to gameday technology, transitioning from Polaroid pictures to digital video and helping implement the use of tablets for sideline play reviews.
“We were never afraid to push it, constantly come trying to come up with new stuff,” Dubé said, via press release. “You always wipe the slate clean every year, just like you do as a football team.”
Dubé’s legacy includes his involvement with the NFL Video Directors Committee and his role in the Ravens’ two Super Bowl victories. His contributions have left a lasting impact on the league, and his induction into the Hall of Fame ensures his place among the greats.
