In 2023, Quarterback took fans inside the huddle with some of the NFL’s best pass-throwers. In 2024, Receiver featured some of the game’s most skilled pass-catchers — and all their coordination, athleticism, and quick reflexes. All of this raises an important question: “What position will they cover next?”
In other words — are you ready for some (more) football?
In July 2025, Quarterback — not Mascot, though it’s OK to admit you got a little too excited about the teaser — will return for Season 2, giving viewers exclusive access to three quarterbacks through the 2024–25 NFL season.
Who are the players in Quarterback Season 2?
The series follows Joe Burrow in his fifth season with the Cincinnati Bengals, leading a team that has high expectations despite a rocky start. Over in Detroit, Jared Goff leads the Lions on the cusp of reaching the Super Bowl, doing whatever he can to make that dream come true.
Kirk Cousins, who left the Minnesota Vikings after a torn achilles in 2023, returns to Quarterback for a second season. Starting fresh with the Atlanta Falcons in his 13th year playing professional football, Cousins has a chance to build on his legacy with a new team in an unfamiliar division.
Quarterback is produced by NFL Films, Omaha Productions and 2PM Productions.
