Stanford firing coach Troy Taylor led to some early movement in college football’s spring transfer portal window. That group includes David Bailey, the 2025 cycle’s top available player and third-ranked edge rusher. It also features offensive lineman Jake Maikkula, who is among the No. 3 available interior offensive lineman.
Maikkula brings plenty of versatility to the interior of an offensive line. He’s made 16 starts over the past two seasons, spending time at center (seven), left guard (five) and right guard (four) while allowing just three sacks in 1,134 snaps.
The 6-foot-5, 295-pound Colorado native is now starting to set visits with Big Ten and SEC trips on deck.
