After six months and thousands of games, men’s college basketball’s biggest night has arrived, as the final two teams in the 68-team NCAA Tournament will play for the right to be etched into the history books as national champions.

No. 1 seed Florida and No. 1 seed Houston are set to tip off at 8:50 p.m. ET on Saturday at the Alamodome in the national championship game of the men’s NCAA Tournament.
To make the championship game, Florida took down SEC foe and No. 1 overall seed Auburn, 79-73, in the Final Four on Saturday. Walter Clayton Jr. was once against stellar for the Gators, helping them come back from an eight-point halftime deficit with 34 points.
As for the Cougars, they shocked No. 1 Duke in a Final Four thriller on Saturday. In what was a battle between the No. 1 offense and No. 1 defense in the country on KenPom, L.J. Cryer led the Cougars with 26 points as Houston mounted a historic comeback down the stretch with an 11-1 run.
A win on Monday would give Florida its first national championship since going back-to-back in 2006-07, while a win for Houston would give the Cougars their first national championship and make coach Kelvin Sampson the oldest coach to win men’s March Madness.
