We have a new No. 1 team in college baseball.
Tennessee’s reign atop the poll ends after five weeks following a series loss at home to Texas A&M. Arkansas, which has won 14 of its last 15 games and is 11-1 in the SEC, takes the top spot.
Texas, which swept Georgia and is tied with Arkansas for first in the SEC, jumps two spots to No. 2. LSU, which swept Oklahoma in Norman, is No. 3, followed by Clemson and Tennessee.
There are four new teams in the polls, headlined by Wake Forest, which is No. 18 after taking two of three at Florida State — with the two wins by a combined score of 29-2. Arizona (No. 21), Kansas (No. 23) and Coastal Carolina (No. 25) are the other new entrants.
Those four replace Dallas Baptist, Kentucky, Kansas State and Arizona State.
