The 2025 NFL draft is roughly two weeks away, and teams are finalizing their draft boards as they look to further bolster their rosters.
This draft doesn’t have one “must draft” player first overall, and the quarterback class is very mid compared to most years. That doesn’t mean that any of these players can’t become stars; it will just take some development for their raw talent.
In our latest first-round projections, two quarterbacks go in the Top 7, the New York Giants make a shocking move, the Jacksonville Jaguars luck into a Heisman winner and the Chicago Bears land a stud offensive lineman.
1. Tennessee Titans – Cam Ward, QB, Miami
The Tennessee Titans are selecting their future franchise quarterback in Cam Ward at first overall.
2. Cleveland Browns – Abdul Carter, EDGE, Penn State
Abdul Carter, the best player in the draft at his position, goes to the Cleveland Browns second overall.
3. New York Giants – Mason Graham, DL, Michigan
Mason Graham is the guy for the New York Giants at third overall. They don’t need to overdraft one of these quarterbacks with the room they have. They can wait until 2026.
The New England Patriots land Armand Membou fourth overall. It’s easier to rebuild the right way when you start in the trenches.
5. Jacksonville Jaguars – Travis Hunter, CB/WR, Colorado
Travis Hunter, the incredible two-way player out of Colorado, falls right into the Jacksonville Jaguars’ laps at No. 5.
6. Las Vegas Raiders – Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State
The Las Vegas Raiders have a lot of needs, but they go running back in the first round with Ashton Jeanty, who’s the best in the draft.
7. New York Jets – Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado
Shedeur Sanders goes to the New York Jets, who sold their soul to Aaron Rodgers over the last two years. Maybe this will make it right.
The Carolina Panthers land a stud in Will Johnson to shore up their secondary.
9. New Orleans Saints – Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Arizona
The New Orleans Saints are a long way away from being good again. They try to get back to their winning ways with a playmaker in Tetairoa McMillan.
10. Chicago Bears – Will Campbell, OL, LSU
The Chicago Bears luck into Will Campbell. The LSU star falling to them at No. 10 is the best-case scenario for Chicago.
The San Francisco 49ers could use some youth on their defensive line, and Jalon Walker could be a steal for them at 11.
12. Dallas Cowboys – Kelvin Banks Jr. OT, Texas
The Dallas Cowboys are good at drafting and developing linemen, which makes Kelvin Banks Jr. the guy.
13. Miami Dolphins – Malaki Starks, S, Georgia
The Miami Dolphins have a need in the secondary, and they’re already high on Malaki Starks, which would make this a great fit.
14. Indianapolis Colts – Tyler Warren, TE, Penn State
The Indianapolis Colts make the move for the best tight end in the draft with Tyler Warren, who adds another weapon to the roster.
15. Atlanta Falcons – Mykel Williams, EDGE, Georgia
The Atlanta Falcons, who love drafting skilled position players for their offense in the first round, work on their defense by drafting Mykel Williams.
16. Arizona Cardinals – Shemar Stewart, EDGE, Texas A&M
Shemar Stewart, a very good edge rusher, is the selection for the Arizona Cardinals at 16.
The Cincinnati Bengals select Tyler Booker to help them with protecting Joe Burrow going forward.
18. Seattle Seahawks – Jihaad Campbell, LB, Alabama
The Seattle Seahawks select Jihaad Campbell to be their next great linebacker.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers beef up their defensive pass rush by adding Mike Green.
20. Denver Broncos – Omarion Hampton, RB, North Carolina
The Denver Broncos become the second team to draft a running back when they take Omarion Hampton in what’s a deep running back group.
21. Pittsburgh Steelers – Kenneth Grant, DL, Michigan
The Pittsburgh Steelers bolster their defensive line with the addition of Kenneth Grant.
22. Los Angeles Chargers – Colston Loveland, TE, Michigan
The Los Angeles Chargers give Justin Herbert a new tight end in Colston Loveland, who also reunites with Jim Harbaugh.
23. Green Bay Packers – Nick Emmanwori, S, South Carolina
The Green Bay Packers focus on shoring up their secondary with Nick Emmanwori.
The Minnesota Vikings take Jahdae Barron, which makes it two straight picks where an NFC North team improves their secondary.
25. Houston Texans – Josh Conerly Jr., OT, Oregon
The Houston Texans take Josh Conerly to help with the development of C.J. Stroud. If Stroud stays upright, the team can be elite.
26. Los Angeles Rams – Josh Simmons, OT, Ohio State
As Matthew Stafford ages, the Los Angeles Rams would like to keep his jersey clean. Selecting Josh Simmons will help with that.
27. Baltimore Ravens – Grey Zabel, OL, North Dakota State
The Baltimore Ravens, who rely a lot on their run game with both Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry, take Grey Zabel to block for them.
28. Detroit Lions – James Pearce Jr., EDGE, Tennessee
The Detroit Lions have been good at getting the most out of edge rushers, and the addition of James Pearce Jr. is a big boost.
29. Washington Commanders – Donovan Ezeiruaku, EDGE, Boston College
The Washington Commanders add some pass rushing help with Donovan Ezeiruaku at 29.
30. Buffalo Bills – Derrick Harmon, DL, Oregon
The Buffalo Bills focus on the defensive line with the addition of Derrick Harmon in another contention year.
31. Kansas City Chiefs – Aireontae Ersery, OT, Minnesota
After the debacle in the Super Bowl for the Kansas City Chiefs, they prioritize the offensive line with the addition of Airenotae Ersery.
32. Philadelphia Eagles – Walter Nolen, DL, Ole Miss
The Philadelphia Eagles just won another Super Bowl. That doesn’t mean that they won’t put all of their effort into getting better, and Walter Nolen will do that for them.
