The NBA has announced that Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards’ technical foul from their recent 117–91 win over the Brooklyn Nets has been rescinded following a review by the league office.
Edwards had faced a one-game suspension after picking up his 18th technical foul of the season. However, with the foul now rescinded, he will be available for the crucial regular season finale against the Utah Jazz on Sunday.
The Timberwolves currently sit sixth in the Western Conference with a 48–33 record. A win over the Jazz would secure them an automatic playoff berth.
Edwards has been a key part of Minnesota’s push for the playoffs, averaging 27.4 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 4.5 assists per game, while shooting 44.7% from the field and 39.5% from three-point range this season.
