Wisconsin top class of 2026 wide receiver target Bubba Frazier committed to Notre Dame on Monday afternoon.
The 5-foot-10, 175-pound slot wide receiver chose the Irish over top contenders Wisconsin, North Carolina and Georgia. His offer sheet also includes Auburn, Georgia Tech, West Virginia, Arkansas and Virginia Tech. Frazier had scheduled an official visit to Madison for June 6, but his commitment to Notre Dame likely changes those plans.
247Sports currently lists the Savannah, Georgia, native as a four-star recruit, ranked specifically as the No. 373 player in the class of 2026, the No. 58 wide receiver and the No. 46 player from his home state. Rivals also consider Frazier a four-star recruit.
During his junior season at Benedictine Military School, Frazier caught 46 passes for 753 receiving yards and five touchdowns. He also rushed 85 times for 604 yards and eight touchdowns, bringing his all-purpose total to 1,357 and 13 touchdowns on 131 touches.

“Exciting offensive weapon who fits a slot role in the long term, but could also move around for backfield touches in varying personnel packages…Couples explosive linear acceleration with above-average speed-changing nuance. Capable of taking the top off the deep third, but also a fierce run-after-catch threat in the screen/jet/fly game… Frame-limited, but fits the mold of a big-play offensive athlete who naturally suits the slot. Projects to the P4 level as a potential multi-year impact player who could particularly excel in the right system.”
With the receiver’s decision, Wisconsin’s class of 2026 ranks No. 39 nationally and No. 10 in the Big Ten. Wisconsin landed three-star class of 2026 quarterback Ryan Hopkins on Sunday, boosting the group from No. 44 to No. 39.
UW’s class is up to five players – Hopkins, three-star WR Tayshon Bardo, three-star DL Carmelow Reed, three-star CB Carsen Eloms and three-star iOL Benjamin Novak. Frazier’s commitment would have been Wisconsin’s fourth on the offensive side of the football, plus second in the wide receiver room.
The Badgers are still in search of their third straight top-25 finish in the national recruiting rankings after productive 2024 and 2025 outputs. As of April 14, Wisconsin has yet to land a blue-chip recruit, which Frazier qualifies as. That number will need to rise significantly as the summer months near.
While Frazier’s decision comes as somewhat of a disappointment, Wisconsin will be busy on the recruiting trail over the next four months. The Badgers need a solid 2026 output to stabilize momentum after a busy offseason of personnel and coaching changes.
