Could the Chargers Look to Move or Stay Put in 2025 NFL Draft?

The homestretch of the NFL Draft is here, which means analysts continue to get in their final predictions ahead it kicking off next week.

And while it is near impossible to guess how the board ends up shaking out for the Chargers at No. 22 overall, CBS Sports’ Cody Benjamin took on an exercise of looking at all 32 teams and examining whether they should look to be on the move or stay put in this year’s draft.

Of course, who’s available as the team’s pick inches closer next Thursday is yet to be seen, but he believes the Bolts should be aggressive on Day 1 and try to move up if a certain scenario comes to be.

The CBS Sports analyst opined the Chargers should look to trade up if the opportunity to get a top offensive pass catching option, specifically a wide receiver, is one that shakes out in Round 1.

Benjamin wrote:

Los Angeles could use a wide receiver… A leap up might help them secure a top prospect like Matthew Golden or Emeka Egbuka.
