It’s no secret that the Colorado Rockies are off to a historically bad start. They are 3-14 on the season — their worst start in franchise history — and have scored only 45 runs through their first 17 games — the fewest in the Majors and their fewest runs scored through the first 17 games in franchise history ahead of the 2019 club’s 46. They also went 32 innings without scoring a run, a franchise record and the seventh-longest streak in the Majors since 2016.
Something needs to change.
The Denver Nuggets made a shocking change with just three games remaining in the regular season. Will the Rockies do the same? Will they make some other tweaks and changes? Or will they just keep hoping and praying that things turn a corner?
