FAYETTEVILLE — The NCAA transfer portal is in full swing for men’s college basketball, and Arkansas is expected to continue to be active in recruiting.
The Razorbacks, coming off a Sweet 16 appearance in coach John Calipari’s debut season, are looking to build on the success in Year 1.
You can find a list of players Arkansas has reportedly contacted here.
We will update this list of all of the Razorbacks’ incoming and outgoing players throughout the offseason:
INCOMING TRANSFERS
F Malique Ewin, Florida State
Ewin was among the most efficient scorers in high-major men’s basketball this season, averaging 14.2 points while shooting 59.6% from the field. His athleticism in the post allows him to create his own looks and make guard-like moves despite his 6-11 frame.
He committed to the Razorbacks on April 15.
F Nick Pringle, South Carolina
Pringle torched Arkansas for 18 points and 9 rebounds when the Gamecocks dominated the Razorbacks in a decisive 72-53 win March 1 in Columbia, S.C.
He averaged 9.5 points and 6.3 rebounds for South Carolina this season. He and projected NBA Draft lottery pick Collin Murray-Boyles created a dynamic front court partnership despite the Gamecocks’ disappointing season.
Pringle committed to the Razorbacks on April 15.
OUTGOING TRANSFERS
F Zvonimir Ivisic
Ivisic is the lone rotational player to depart through the portal as of April 17. The 7-2 big man averaged 8.5 points and 4.3 rebounds this season but scored 18 or more points in 4 of 6 games between Feb. 8 and Feb. 26.
He committed to Illinois, where he’ll play with his twin brother, Tomislav Ivisic, and for his former Kentucky assistant coach Orlando Antigua, on April 6.
G Melo Sanchez
Sanchez was a reserve who appeared in two games for Arkansas against Maryland-Eastern Shore and Central Arkansas.
He started his collegiate career at Division II Hawaii Pacific, where he averaged 14.6 points per game as a sophomore.
G Casmir Chavis
Chavis appeared in one game for the Razorbacks in his freshman season, scoring 2 points against Maryland-Eastern Shore.
He was a 3-star prospect coming out of high school and was originally committed to Washington before reopening his recruitment due to a coaching change.
