SSU softball
The Seawolves softball team continued its late season push last week, taking three-of-four games from visiting Cal State Dominguez Hills.
SSU has now won 10 of its last 11 games, improving to 28-19 overall on the year, and sits tied for third in the California Collegiate Athletic Association at 15-13. The Seawolves dropped the first game of the series 3-2 but came back with wins of 7-2, 3-1 and 2-1 in eight innings.

SSU has potentially its final home series in program history coming up this week when they welcome Cal State Monterey Bay for a pair of doubleheaders Friday and Saturday.
SSU is currently No. 9 in the NCAA West Regional Rankings heading into the final two weeks of the regular season.

The Seawolves shot even par as a team and were led by Ivan Sablan, who finished fourth overall individually with a score of 7-under par for the three-round tournament.
Cambron Nevill also finished in the top 15, tying for 11th overall with a score of 3-under par.
Next up, SSU will compete in the CCAA Tournament starting this Sunday in Santa Barbara.
SSU baseball
It’s been a trying spring for the Seawolves’ baseball program, but they were able to secure a CCAA series split with Cal State Stanislaus last week.
They erupted for a season-high 14 hits in their win in the series finale, bouncing back from losses of 10-9 and 4-3 in the two prior games. They won the opener 10-7.
Like the softball team, the SSU baseball program faces potentially its final homestand in program history this weekend. San Francisco State is in town for a four-game series that began Thursday.
