NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – Saints right tackle Ryan Ramczyk announced his retirement from the NFL Thursday night on social media.
Ramczyk, a 2017 first-round pick by New Orleans, had not played since the 2023 season due to ongoing knee issues.
He started all 12 games he appeared in last year before being sidelined, and hadn’t returned to the field since. Known for his reliability, Ramczyk started all 101 regular-season games he played in, including 98 at right tackle.
From 2018 to 2020, Ramczyk was named to the Associated Press All-Pro team for three straight seasons. That stretch placed him in rare company, alongside Pro Football Hall of Famer William Roaf. He became just the second tackle in franchise history to earn All-Pro honors three times.
