Plan your day around the draft: Saturday, April 19

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) – The NFL Draft doesn’t start until next week, but Green Bay has been preparing for a year and we’re not going to delay some of the festivities any longer. Check out some three-story tall sights around downtown, let the kids burn off some football energy, and take in a concert — one of many, many concerts over the next week.

Events are listed chronologically by start time. Doors or gates may open earlier than the time listed.

9 a.m.-5 p.m.: Neville Public Museum, 300 Museum Place

Exhibits include “Delay of Game: African American Football Players in Titletown,” looking at these players’ experiences, struggles and impacts in the community, and “Lens Legends: The Green Bay Packers Legacy Through Photos and Film” with collections from Otto Stiller and Henry “Hank” Lefebvre, Press-Gazette and News Film showcasing the community history of the Packers. Admission $6-12.

9:15 a.m.-10 a.m.: Downtown “Miracle of Green Bay” banner reveal, Brown County Library, 515 Pine St.

Library history department staff shares stories behind the photos on downtown banners. Event features former Packers cheerleaders from the Golden Girls, Sideliners and Packerettes cheer teams and “Vince Lombardi.” Website https://www.miracleofgreenbay.org

10 a.m.-1 p.m.: Football Fan-O-Rama, Brown County Library, 515 Pine St.

Interactive, hands-on, family-friendly event celebrating football. Test your skills in a Madden NFL tournament, learn the history of football video games, learn what it takes to be a draft pick, make a Lambeau Leap, play paper football, meet “Vince Lombardi.” Free.

1 p.m.-3:30 p.m.: Evergreen Theater presents “Dad’s Season Tickets, a musical,” Brown County Central Library, 515 Pine St.

Frank Kosinski is thinking about his will, and all that matters is who will inherit his Packers season tickets. Free; donations accepted at the door.

6:30 p.m.-12 a.m.: Pre-Draft Pop-up Concert, Stadium View, 1963 Holmgren Way
