CINCINNATI — The Bearcats’ offensive line got a nice boost entering the end of spring in college football. South Dakota transfer offensive tackle Joe Cotton is picking the Bearcats to continue his college career.
The redshirt junior left tackle played over 1,400 snaps for the Coyotes in the past two seasons at the FCS level. The 6-7,310-pound mauler earned an 81.1 Pro Football Focus grade last season.
Cotton has two years of eligibility left and should immediately stabilize Cincinnati’s offensive tackle depth. UC has slotted a few different combinations at the tackle spots this spring and now adds 247Sports’s 23rd best offensive linemen to enter the transfer portal so far. He was the site’s fifth-best player available.
