The Alexandria Technical and Community College baseball team got the bats going in Friday’s doubleheader on the road against the Central Lakes College-Brainerd Raiders. The Legends won game one of the doubleheader 12-6 and game two 16-8.
Alexandria College was tied with CLC-Brainerd at six through two innings of game one, but outscored CLC-Brainerd 6-0 in the final five innings to get the win.

Devin Gutierrez and Jonah DeJong led the Legends offensively in game one on Friday. Gutierrez, a Corpus Christi, Texas, native, went 3-for-3 at the plate, scored four times, and had two RBIs, while DeJong, a Fargo, North Dakota, native, went 3-for-3 at the plate, scoring twice and knocking in five runs.
Wadena, Minnesota, native Connor Davis went 3-for-4 at the plate and scored four times for Alexandria College.
Davis went 4-for-4 at the plate in game two, hitting two doubles, scoring twice, and knocking in two runs.
Alexandria College (18-8) hosts CLC-Brainerd (1-15) in a Saturday doubleheader starting at 1 p.m. at Knute Nelson Memorial Park.
