COOLIDGE − After tying a 2007 school record of 16 consecutive wins, the Cochise College baseball team has struggled lately losing five of its last six road games three of which came Friday and Saturday, April 18-19 in a series loss to Central Arizona College, the same team wins No. 1 and No. 2 of the winning streak began with this past March.
The three losses dropped the Apaches from 14th in last week’s NJCAA national rankings to 22nd in Monday’s latest poll. Just three weeks ago, Cochise College had been ranked 10th in the nation.
