HARTFORD, Conn. (WFSB) – A New England college baseball rivalry returns to Hartford on Tuesday night as UConn faces off against UMass at Dunkin Park.
First pitch is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. in what marks another chapter in a series that began in 1900.
UConn has dominated in recent years, winning the last nine meetings and leading the all-time series.
The Huskies are coming off a strong showing, having swept Seton Hall in a three-game series last week.
With a winning record at Dunkin Park since the stadium opened, UConn hopes to keep the momentum going on home turf.
Fans attending the game can expect more than just baseball as the evening will also feature food vendors, activities for families.
