WATERTOWN, New York (WWNY) – Women’s college lacrosse along with college baseball on the local sports docket for this Wednesday night.

Women’s College Lacrosse Rivalry Week Games: Clarkson at St. Lawrence.

In the first quarter, Madelynn Barnum takes the pass and rips yarn. 3-1 Clarkson.

Barnum to Gabby Cranfield, who lasers top shelf, giving Clarkson a 4-2 lead.

Neve Ley circles and scores for the Saints. 4-3 to end the first quarter.

Hannah Jackson attacks and fires a worm burner, tying the game at 4-4.

Caroline Hamilton slides through the defense and puts the Saints ahead 5-4.

Lily Stanton glides past the “D” and slips the ball through the five-hole.

St. Lawrence doubles up Clarkson 12-6.

Women’s college lacrosse SUNY Plattsburgh at SUNY Potsdam.

Massena product Lindsey LaDue battles the defense, gets knocked down, and still scores. 1-0 Potsdam.

Cynthia Barnosky sidewinds a low shot and scores. Game tied 1-1.

Barnosky spins on the defender and goes low on the keeper. 2-1 Plattsburgh.

Another Massena product, Jayla Thompson, sneaks through the defense and scores. The game knotted at 2-2.

Parishville native Meg MacWilliams to Tessa Pierce, putting Potsdam ahead 3-2.

LaDue scored again, setting a Bears’ single-season scoring record at 79 points, and a school record 148 goals and 201 points.

Thompson attacks and scores again. 5-3 Bears.

Off a restart, Erica Dickinson fires over the goalkeeper. 5-4.

MacWilliams twists and turns, then rips yarn.

SUNY Potsdam nips Palttsburgh State 9-7.

On the diamond JCC is hosting Finger Lakes in a double dip.

JCC losing game 1, 9-3, game 2 highlights.

Bottom 2, JCC already up 3-nothing when Robert Leyva singles back up the middle. Braiden Bly comes around from 2nd to score, 4-nothing Cannoneers.

Still in the 2nd, Ryan Murnane hits a shot to right center that goes for extra bases, Leyva comes around to score, 5-zip Cannoneers after 2.

Finger Lakes would rally to beat JCC 8-7 in game 2 completing the sweep.
