2025 NFL Draft: College football programs with most first-round picks in history

The first round of the 2025 NFL Draft re-established bragging rights for several of the nation’s biggest college football programs. Ohio State led all schools with four first-round selections following its first national championship since 2014. Rival Michigan produced the most top 15 picks at three, while the usual suspects — including Georgia, Texas and Alabama — all developed multiple top-32 selections.

Most of the schools on this list recruit themselves given their NFL pedigree, and this week’s first round was no different as Ohio State, Texas, Georgia and Michigan produced the most top-32 selections. It was a slightly disappointing Thursday night for Alabama, which had fewer than three first-round picks for just the second time in the last nine years.

In case you were wondering, Tennessee (48), Florida State (47), Penn State (44) and Clemson (40) just missed the cut for this all-time top 10 threshold.
